New kind of beauty; my “great blue lady”

My new kind of beauty
I met yesterday a new kind of beauty : a strong willed, late 40’s woman with Down syndrome and uncorrected congenital heart disease; the one that gives the “blue” appearance, associated with long life living with low Oxygen .
Ill call her my “great blue lady “ because she is blue – cyanotic , and not supposed to be alive !!
Down syndrome associated with congenital heart disease has a low life expectancy .
But here she is , living among nuns , brought to emergency room by worsening hypoxia – low oxygen .
My first thought was to transfer her to a center dealing with adult congenital heart disease . But “my blue lady “ and her amazing family chose to stay with me
“ My blue lady “ is a smart , well functioning Down syndrome who .. first …liked my clothes . She said she known how sick she is, but her goal is to go on a trip to Florida .
I’m meeting a strong willed women, who should’ve been dead long time ago, living at 78% Oxygen, (normal more than 95%) , coherent and with clear short term goals .
I met her supportive , wonderful family , who allowed me to post these pictures
We did great together .
I healed her , temporarily and she taught me a new kind of beauty : Perseverance will always win ; beauty comes always from inside
