Healthy Hearts is a group of high school students who promote blood pressure screening , early recognition of hypertension in youth and healthy eating tips to control blood pressure .
Our Mission
- To offer FREE blood pressure screening to all students (not just athletes) to detect hypertension in youth
- To educate the community about Hypertension – with its nickname of “silent killer” and increase awareness about the importance of early recognition
- To provide schools and our local community with an easy , accessible way to check blood pressure
- To increase awareness of healthy diet as prevention of hypertension in teens

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township is one of the largest Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in the state of Illinois, serving nearly 3,000 Club members throughout the year with after-school programming, summer programs and athletic leagues.
BGCDT operates in seven (7) Community Schools, within District 300 and 220 with a Teen Center in Carpentersville, Illinois.
